I hereby declare that the Treaty of Union is no longer fit for the secure and good governance of Scotland. That the UK government, having ignored and broken the terms of the fundamental, constitutional compact between the people of Scotland and the government, is in violation of the express and ratified condition of Union. Neither can it promote the spiritual and economic well-being of our nation. Therefore, under the terms of the Claim of Right, I call for the reconvening of the Assembly of the Communities and the setting up of democratic assemblies to determine the wrongs committed against the people of Scotland and to enact redress, penalty and remedy according to Scottish constitutional tradition and statute.
